08:02 AM ET 12.24 | The soap opera rolls on in Washington, where it seems Donovan McNabb's agent suggested his client knows more about football than the Redskins' offensive coordinator. [McNabb's] agent blasted Washington Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan in a formal statement Thursday, contending that the coach had undermined McNabb throughout the season. "I believe there is tension between Donovan and Kyle that's rooted in the fact that Donovan has suggested modifications to Kyle's offense based on intricacies Donovan has learned in his NFL career," McNabb's agent, Fletcher Smith III, wrote in the statement to Redskins beat reporters and national NFL writers.

Hey, um, can you switch the wide receiver/safety story back to the Bucs thread and post the McNabb story here?

December 24, 2010  09:44 AM ET

December 24, 2010  09:54 AM ET

McNabb, the Vikings are on line 2...

Im thinking it's time to fire the Shanahans! Better yet, leave them in place so the Giants can continue kicking their butts!

December 24, 2010  09:58 AM ET

Probably true but McNabb is still washed up.

There are probably at least 6 or 7 teams that would/will take him if he does become available this offseason if he is released or the Skins want a low draft pick for him.

He couldn't be much worse than Hasselbeck. But the 12th man is getting surly. We don't want almost adequate quarterbacks at this point.

December 24, 2010  10:56 AM ET

At this point, the agent has negotiated a very good contract for McNabb. He should really **** and let McNabb collect on it. Getting cut because your agent won't shut his pie hole is not the way for that to happen.

And believe me, no one else is going to give McNabb that kind of money.

You can't even say Ess Tee Eff Yoo? I mean, WTF is with that?
