08:58 AM ET 12.26 | Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez admits to thinking about retirement after this season, but is still uncertain about his future plans. He's under contract for next season, but wide receiver Roddy White is worried that Gonzalez will retire if the team won the Super Bowl. "I would be lying if I didn't tell you that I didn't think about it," Gonzalez said of retiring. "I'd be a fool if I didn't think about it; just trying to be prepared a little bit. But you think about it and then you detach from it."

I like Lady Gaga. It's not my favorite musical genre, but she writes catchy stuff. I think she could improve herself by wearing a little more clothing. On the Favre side, however, I have really enjoyed his media exposure this year--sexting scandal, ineffective play, big hits.

I am disinterested in these options and will not participate, Dook.

Nothing personal...

Listening to Deion Sanders babble last night, I think they honestly believe they are speaking properly 50.

Maybe it's a good thing the world is moving to a texting communications model because the art of actual speaking is in serious danger.

I feel your pain. Some of my students actually use text messaging language in their formal writing. It makes me say WTF, not lol.

I'll be sad to see this one go. The guy's a pleasure to watch at work.

They have 1 similarity. The Lady has "gag" in her name and Brett has been doing that in the playoffs for years now.

Tony Gonzalez can walk away from the game of football right now and be a Hall of Famer. He is one of the greatest tight ends of all-time, if not the best, and although he is getting a little old, he is still one of the most dominant tight ends in all of football with Jason Witten, Dallas Clark, and Zack Miller. But is ready to leave or does he still have something left in the tank. Gonzalez has never won a Super Bowl and this year, his Falcons have started off 12-2 and have clinched a playoff spot and will clinch the number 1 seed in the NFC with a win Monday Night against the Saints. Gonzalez is ready to go for a Super Bowl run and the Falcons can make a big statement to the league that the record is for real. But I think Gonzalez leaving all depends on how the Falcons do in the playoffs. If they go all the way, then Gonzalez could retire a champion. But, if the Falcons lose, I expect Tony Gonzalez to go back and try to compete for another Super Bowl with all the major guys on this team coming back.

True, but there are only so many barrels and rodeos for the clowns to work at.

The real contest lately seems to be posters vs. spam. I saw a posting a few days ago where more than a FULL PAGE was all spam.

Why don't the moderators block all this crap? Why to we have to REPORT it before they simply delete it?

Either way, he is the BEST to ever be a Tight End. PROVE OTHERWISE. HOF!
