Will Elway hinder Broncos' hire?

It's going to be another rough couple years in Denver.

It is very important to hire a quality GM. Otherwise, you get someone who keeps a kicker that can't make an extra point at the end of a game.

Why should the team limit their search because of Elway? They were probably just going to hire another Belichick assistant who isn't going to pan out anyway.

Look at this way, fellas: next year they have to get a coach who is totally outside the Cowboys current coaching staff to instill some fundamentals and discipline. You already have a lot of talent and a high draft pick. Things will get better.
