09:25 AM ET 12.26 | The New Jersey Nets are hoping to sell Carmelo Anthony on their future by also acquiring point guard Andre Miller, one of his former teammates. The Nets have continued talks with the Portland Trail Blazers and Denver Nuggets about the possibility of adding Miller in a multiteam trade that would land them Anthony, league sources told Yahoo! Sports. Anthony and Miller were teammates in Denver from 2003-06 and played well together. While reuniting with Miller would be attractive to Anthony, sources continue to insist the Nets would likely need to acquire an additional quality player for Anthony to seriously consider committing to a contract extension with the franchise.

Think long term .... MELO 26 .....would ranther play with Miller 34 for 2 years or Harris 27 for the next 5 - 8 years .....

Better trade would be trying to get CP3 to Nets, to wave in front of MELO !

It's a good point. Though, Miller is a better facilitator and distributor than Harris.

That's a good point. I always thought he is pretty good for what he does and what he cost. Maybe that's why he's always traded...because he's tradeable.

Miller only been Traded twice ... in '02 From CLE to LAC for Darius Miles (when he was good), then in '03 the LAC fail to match DEN offer. Traded from DEN in '06 for A.I. from PHIL. Then PHIL let him walk (to cut cost) as a FA to Portland. ...

and how is PORTLAND planning rebuilding? no need for high price VETS
