08:03 AM ET 12.27 | Moving from Sunday to Tuesday has Visanthe Shiancoe wondering why. "You know what, the roads are bad for East Coast standards," he said. "But if this was in the Midwest, there would be no way that this would be delayed. No way. No way. It's kind of weird to me that the game has been canceled. It's something that baffles me. But I'm not here to make decisions on when games are played. But I just want to share my opinion."

It's baffling that it even matters to the lad.....

December 27, 2010  08:14 AM ET

Yeah, in Minnesota the only thing that would delay a game would be if the roof to the Metrodome collap... Anyway...

December 27, 2010  08:15 AM ET

I was thinking the same thing .... Why Tuesday ..... Not Monday Night ..... SNF show them clearing the field ...

But it's the VIKES jinx .... Roof falls in move game to Detroit, Move last to Monday Night cause of home game outdoors at TCF... SNOW delay in PHIL now .... last game at Detroit Ford Field wonder IF that roof will fall in ;)

December 27, 2010  08:18 AM ET

Now there is more time to wheel Favre onto the field and that's just for the coin toss.

December 27, 2010  08:19 AM ET

Shiancoe sure is eager for the upcoming thrashing...

December 27, 2010  08:25 AM ET

From a VIKES player view point .... fly out on Saturday / Christmas Day ...wants to get back home to Minny ASAP to family, not Wednesday at 4 AM ;(

When the mayor of Philly comes on tv and says he wants people to stay at home starting at 2 pm, the league was kind of forced into this. You're expecting a blizzard and really the last thing you want to do is invite 80,000 people onto the streets at night and then expect them to have safe travels on the way home. Too much liability. I'm not sure about a Tuesday game. That gives the teams a short turn around the the last week of the regular season.

It really stunk not having a game on Sunday night. It also made me realize how depressing it's going to be when football season is over.

Not really a problem. MN will be done and Philly can use their 2nd and 3rd stringers against Dallas even if they need a win.

I blame Favre. Didn't have these problems in Minny until he showed up.

Their season started a downward spiral when a few of his good friends dragged him off the tractor.

He probably doesn't want to sit around the hotel playing board games for another two nights.

My opinion exactly.

It's a conspiracy!

The NFL delays the game so Brett Favre can heal in time. Just like last week.

December 27, 2010  08:55 AM ET

Wouldn't have had the game in MN with that much snow either. Took 2 days to get the stadium shoveled out for crying out loud. Of course OUR blizzard was much bigger.

I get the delay the game cause of SNOW .... but WHY not tonight vs waiting two nights ...cause of the Saints vs Falcons tonight?
