Ewing, Jordan talked about Bobcats job

I hope Ewing gets the job. (Olk school Knicks Fan here). Ahh the good ol days. Auld Lang Syne! 2010 will be the year to remember. Damm that "Decision" lol.

Ewing will eventually get a head coaching job

Again i hear another black guy named to be Charlotte's coach. I think it's safe to say that whoever the Bobcat's next coach will be, will be black. Lol.

But on a much serious note, i'd go with Ewing over Silas because Ewing has more of a sense of how to deal with today's players.

A big reason why Silas was out of a job in the first place was because he didn't know how to deal with today's players.

If his own friend won't hook it up who else will? A lucrative assistant position is better than a sorrrowful head coach job... look at the mess Rambis is in now. I think he made a good decision by staying clear off the cats.

silas was a good coach , i thought he was what lebron needed in Cleveland and had he been there lebron wouldnt have been the way he is....

i dont think mike wanted to do that to pat considering its would be his first head job and it wouldnt be permanent you add that to Jordan about to blow up the roster and its not good for a newbie

He couldn't relate to today's players. I don't care how good of a coach you are (Larry Brown) if the players don't respect you, don't like you, and doesn't want to lay it out there for you then you won't be coaching that team for long.

I'm not sure. 7 maybe 8?

i think its only like 4 black head coaches in the league so you can not possibly be complaining about one more being added........

I'm black myself. Why would i be complaining? I'm happy about it. I'm just surprised that Jordan is so obvious about it. I at least thought he would throw 1 white guy's name in the mix just to seem fair but no way in hell am i mad about it. It's kind of funny to me in a way.

Much easier to get an NBA coaching gig for african american HC's than it is in the NFL or NCAA (football).
