Gallo's knee stinging any deals for Melo?

08:15 AM ET 01.03 | What does Danilo Gallinari's knee -- which he briefly appeared to have injured Sunday afternoon before later proclaiming it is nothing to worry about -- have to do with Carmelo Anthony? An MRI scheduled for Monday will determine the extent of the damage. The results will be monitored from coast to coast; not only do the Knicks need Gallinari's three-point shooting to secure a playoff spot, but they'd presumably need to include him in any realistic trade proposal for Anthony.

Here we go again............more melo garbageGood win though for ny yesterday.Beating indy, who's onr if their competitors for the last couple of playoff spots, was important......keep beating teams that are equal and below you and try and steal a win vs the better teams.

boy if the knicks had some defense and could rebound they would be hell...good game though....

QUOTE(#8):

Yes sir. Every win is important unless you're Luvher downplaying a C's loss, or Pimpston making excuses for Chicago getting soundly beaten by the Knicks 2 out of 2 times. But as far as this Melo thing goes, fear not (not that you are). Melo will be a Knick when all is said and done.

thats just the way it is...........every win for the knicks is important , they are new and their match up for the playoffs will determine how well they do

Healthy or not, if this guy is the key to the Carmelo trade, look for Carmelo to be in Jersey.

there you go again speaking nonsense, the knicks are 18-14 and the Bulls are 22-10 for a reason.

Well you have much more of a point than Pimpston. That guy is simply in love with excuses as long as those excuses benefit the Chicago Bulls.

QUOTE(#23):

True, and as we have seen injuries could derail a team....The Knicks are all banged up, and if Gallo misses a few weeks , the Knicks could be screwed. There is not much depth there

Injuries can kill a team....the celtics have been the walking wounded so far this season and still manage to hold on.......so its possible that if galo has to miss a game or two other guys will step up...maybe they will give randolph a shot......
