09:02 AM ET 01.07 | Micah Richards has handed Manchester City an ultimatum, telling coach Roberto Mancini to give him regular first team soccer or he will look for a new club. The 22-year-old Richards revealed a conversation with England manager Fabio Capello convinced him he must be playing every week to win back his spot in the national side, and admitted he is fed up of playing second fiddle to the likes of Jerome Boateng and Pablo Zabaleta. Despite playing a full 90 minutes in the midweek draw at Arsenal, Richards has started just two league game in the last seven under Mancini.

In WTF news for this Friday, January, 7, 2010;
Luca "La Prostituta" Toni signs a contract with Juventus. In 17 years, the 2 1/2 years he spent with Bayern is the longest he's ever lasted at a club.
Louis van Gaal has replaced World Cup goalkeeper Hans-Joerg "Statistically Perfect" Butt with Thomas Kraft as the starter in goal for the rest of the season.

Oh, and on the topic at hand, Jerome Boateng is better than Richards, so maybe Richards SHOULD look for another club. That's what happens when you don't have any English coaches in the EPL; they don't give a shiat about your national team.

I'd gladly take him at Bolton, we could use a right back.

And on the topic of Sepp Blabber and his Winter World Cup Wonderland, Jogi says it best:
Germany coach Joachim Low said on Wednesday he was opposed to playing the 2022 World Cup during winter, saying it would be a disadvantage to fans in Europe.
"At the World Cup in 2006, the European Championships in 2008 and the World Cup in 2010, there were millions on the streets ... if the World Cup in 2022 takes place in winter, no fan is going to be on the street if it's minus five degrees (23 degrees Fahrenheit)," Low said.

I agree with Low. It's dumb to have a winter WC.

I think the philosophy van Gaal is going with is to see if Kraft is a real possibility to start next season. They could have 20+ million on not buying Neuer, and if Neuer doesn't leave Schalke they could pick him up the following Summer on a Free. I think this is Kraft's audition period. I just don't like benching Butt when he made zero errors in the first half of the season. Especially in a make-up chase.

Yeah I would keep Butt in until at least it seems Bayern will likely qualify for CL next season, then bring in Kraft. I doubt Bayern can overtake Dortmund for the title, so they need to make CL qualification the top priority. Butt is the best choice for that scenario.

He should have checked the online schedule on the club website.
