10:29 AM ET 01.09 | Broncos football boss John Elway strongly refuted a nationally televised report Saturday that implied he might trade quarterback Tim Tebow to the next team that employs Josh McDaniels. Tweeted Elway: "Any speculation that the Denver Broncos are considering moving Tim is completely false."

Did anyone actually think they were going to trade him? He's already a fan favorite.

It's going to be a very interesting rebuilding process in Denver.

I actually got a chuckle out of this one............

Orton should bring some nice trade offers.

They almost HAVE to try and make this (Tebow) work. If it doesn't, they are further back in the rebuilding process.

You just cannot miss taking a QB in the 1st round - the consequences are too severe.

That would be one way to put it. Excruciatingly painful would be another.

He's really one of the few players on the team with a lot of trade value. There aren't many big name QBs in the draft and Orton is a proven commodity.

DUUUUUUHHHHHHHHH

Tebows stats for his limited action are above average for a new pivot.Does anyone really think the Broncos would cut him loose already?

How ironic would it be if he landed in Tennessee after calling the Titans 'dirty' earlier in the season? Unless they move up in the draft from the 8 spot they aren't going to get a qb. Collins is a very short term answer and the clock is ticking on Fisher. CJ may have two or three more seasons of elite speed left in his legs so a veteran just may be the most viable option.

but it's Denver.

True that!

We can testify to that here in Tennessee.....

Seriously? I guess this is just part of the false rumors that spreads around and are written about, huh?

Agree. He can play.

this Elway is so ugly with his mouth that looks like some kind of amazone cat fish's mouth.

January 9, 2011  11:10 AM ET

Tebow is no "Franchise QB."

January 9, 2011  11:14 AM ET

oh no! No Tim Tebow won't be on the trade market? What will the rest of the teams do....

Remains to be seen but I wouldn't bet against him.
