08:07 AM ET 01.10 | The 2010 campaign will not be looked upon favorably by many in Washington, but there are no promises 2011 will unfold with less drama. There appear to be some cracks in the relationship between Redskins owner Dan Snyder and head coach Mike Shanahan and general manager Bruce Allen, according to those familiar with the goings on at Redskins Park. And that might mean Shanahan and Allen better win in 2011 if they want to be around in 2012.

Rehash of another thread...

Moving on.

January 10, 2011  08:14 AM ET

already?

January 10, 2011  08:16 AM ET

Again...

The "rift" is due to the fact that Snyder knows who fills up those 92,000 seats at FedEx field. Shanny doesn't realize his bumbling of handling high profile minority athletes has divided the city.... And Snyder knows, if it doesn't make dollars, it doesn't make sense!

And while you're at it Shanny, fire that damn Hanslett, make mends with Haynesworth and go back to a 4-3 defense IF you still can.

Wow, so many topics that would make for good discussion after a playoff filled weekend and this is the crap we get??

We need more Favre threads.

And one about how Rex Ryan's favorite hockey player is Toe Blake.

I have to admit... Kornheiser was right at the beginning of the season when he said, Shanahan is good at the HC position, but when he has too much power, it can be disasterous.

I think his role with personnel needs to be more limited and monitored.

"according to those familiar with the goings on at Redskins Park."

And whoever this guy is, he's responsible for 99% of our drama!!

Nah, no more controversy, at least in my eyes now that Mangina's gone. Anything after that is an improvement. As for <hurls>, for me that's what comes to mind when thinking of Haynesworth.

Too late now. Pandora's box is already opened there.

So are they still talking of Holgrem coming out of the booth?

I do like the fact that Bruce Allen (GM) isn't going to sit back and let Shanahan be the cause of his demise.

Mini-Shanahan (ego speaking). Right.
