08:03 AM ET 01.11 | Andy Reid took the occasion of a season-ending postmortem to make a lengthy wish list. Reid said he wants both Michael Vick and Kevin Kolb to return to the team, and he wants all of his coaching staff to return, too. When Reid, holding his season-ending news conference, was asked who he expects to be the starter when the team reconvenes, he said "we'll see." "Listen, I'd love to have them all back," Reid said when asked if Kolb could return as a backup. Kolb is under contract for next season, Vick is not. "I'm fired up to hear him say that [he wants to be a starter somewhere in the NFL]. You want any player, especially a quarterback, to want to be a great player. That's important at that position. I would love to have him back. Same with Michael. I want him back. They are tremendous players.

Yes - Vick and Kolb would indeed be better than Vick and Sorgi.

Reid also likes cake.

Translation: Reid likes the job security that Vick and Kolb together brings.

If his play calling and clock management skills don't improve, that "security" isn't going to save him from the wrath of Iggle fans.

That is great Andy. Put down the Tasty Kake and figure out how to win the Superbowl.

His playcalling and clock management has never been very good. But the Eagles win more often than not in spite of that fact.

Isn't going to happen. One has to go. Divided locker rooms don't work, just ask M Shanahan as he's quite good at dividing the locker room.

Dividing locker rooms? Shanny's dividing front offices.

Caldwell's clock management is worse but not by much.

Rumor has it that the laminated "play sheet" in his hand is actually a menu from Waffle House

Good point... and P. Manning would concur.

They will need two good quarterbacks with that oline.

Mornin' Otis! Rather nipply out isn't it?

Would you say Dallas because Romo got killed? The only reason I think Philly did well was that Vick is more mobile than the Kolb statue or the Cutler statue in Chicago. Watching the Giants destroy Cutler made me wonder if tackling dummies would have been better at slowing down the rush.

However, I haven't heard him mention Akers.......
