08:08 AM ET 01.12 | Not much is certain in Carmelo Anthony's long-term future, but he went on the record Tuesday to talk about the next few days. He guaranteed the 132-98 win over Phoenix at the Pepsi Center wasn't his final game in a Denver uniform. And he said one can put in "bold words" that his wife, LaLa Vazquez, isn't playing a significant role in where he soon will be playing. ... "This is not my last game," Anthony said after scoring 28 points in the rout. "I'll be here playing against Miami Thursday. You all will have another interview with me Thursday. Guaranteed. I guarantee you that."

As long as people are commenting they will keeping bringing out the same old story every day until he is traded.

Nope! and if he does stay then he will be credited with being the stupidest player in the NBA for causing all this drama!

January 12, 2011  09:03 AM ET

Nuggets are the team where the owner booked his arena for a WWE event during the NBA playoffs, not figuring his team would be there. They were, WWE moved their event to Cali, and Owner looked like a fool. That is because he is a fool. This trade drama is Exhibit B. If I was in charge of the Nets, I'd start pulling picks from the deal. "If you don't agree by Thursday at 5pm, you get 1 pick instead of 2."

Nets have all those picks over the next couple years, tell the Nuggets to piss off, and used them on the next disgruntled star that wants out. There are 1 or 2 every year. No way I'd want Billups or Hamilton, even if both are gone before Brooklyn.

If he does it will rattle a few people but it won't be such a big deal. If that's what Melo wants so be it. But if anything I like how Melo is coming out to guarantee the future of his career. He's definitely in control of his future and he's speaking like one. It's about time he takes control of what's being put out there cos Josh and Ujiri along with New Jersey's management are very imcompetent. Look at the mess they've created and they expect Melo to be down with them?

What Nets and Nuggets owners are doing is making Bosh and LeBron look real smart for leading their old teams on and leaving them dry.

Melo is in his wisdom, respect and sympathy for Nuggets told them look I want to go to Knicks. So get to work and try to get something back for me. Yet because of greed and arrogance they turn to a team like New Jersey that can give them a better package thinking they are in control and can use money to sway Melo's heartdesire. If even stupid Bosh can leave all this money behind to land in Miami why do they think Melo gives a rat **** 65 mil? If I'm Melo I'm so disgusted I'd nix any deal and play out the season so I can leave the Nuggets dry like they deserve. F Ujiri, Josh and the whole front office of New Jersey and their drunk owner in Russia that's out of touch with reality.

I would hate to see Melo on the Bulls. This guy is a coward. Just come out and say trade me to the Knicks. The guy's attitude stinks. At least Lebron played his contract out. I have lost all respect for Melo. Lala wears the pants in that contract they call a marriage.

Time to take your talents elsewhere, Bro.

January 12, 2011  10:15 AM ET

They are treating this guy like hes K Jabbar or Shaq in their primes. Hes not an all time great so let the POS go wherever he wants and watch the team underachieve, just like the Nuggets do every year.
