Short and to the point. also....who cares!!!!!!
Oh come on Count. It's been a while since the Browns had a thread. They were on a nice roll around mid-season. Then Mangenius had the tires chucked off his tow truck.

Is a fan of Vanderbilt football allowed to add a "zzzzz" comment about anything? I'd rather slam my fingers in the door for 3 hours than watch a Vandy football game.
I would take Jauron or Wanndstedt. I would even take Ryan back. If he had some more talent, his exotic schemes may have worked a lot better. I think he will do well with Dallas. Now, on to the 4-3.

Yikes! You mean jauron is a 4-3 coach? I think the problem with the Browns is they keep changing the 5 year plan every 2 or 3 years. I remember when Romeo came in and changed it from the 4-3 to the 3-4. Now we're going back to a 4-3? The Browns do not have enough D line-men for that scheme. Geesch! They didn't have enough D linemen for a 3-4. It's why there were times when they ran a 2-5.
Hmmm? Reid found his scapegoat for losing the last three games. He fired his DC. Yep, that was the problem alright and not his offense that disappeared the last three games. Maybe moving up to draft a mediocre DE that was of little use at a position of need had something to do with it? Nah.

All I'm saying is both coaches execute the 4-3. Maybe if I call the next DC and tell him what I think, he will listen. But in the mean time, he is going to run what he wants to run. True, they can't keep switching, but with coaches every 3 years that is what you get.
i watch jauron play in detroit with lebeau (steelers d coord.) when i was growing up in michigan. he was a very good and smart defensive back. he has had some bad luck choaching for some bad teams!

Well, he did have great success as a head coach for the Bills. . .

Actually, Jauron is considered to be a very good defensive coach. I'd rather see him with the Browns than the Eagles.

The bigger question is - will this thread hit double-digit comments? (not including spam)

Or a 2-4-5. And if you count the ineptitude of Eric Wright it was a 2-4-4.
