No surprise, we knew Penske was going to cut back in Cup. Better to drive Nationwide than join the unemployed.

Strange, a new story on a Sunday morning. Some intern must be in trouble or looking for brownie points.

January 16, 2011  11:36 AM ET

Also in the story on Jayski ..... Penske also verified that the #77 car's owners points, was 30th in 2010 points will be used by .....

Stephen Wallace, who is attempting to make his Cup debut at Daytona. Wallace, 23, currently drives the #66 Toyota for his father at Rusty Wallace Racing...

So we go from Spin out Sam ....to .... Wrecking Wallace, ;) LOL

Well I said it before Wallace has the best Body Shop Crew in NASCAR today!

Sure glad I didn't have to go to Jayski and drag out a new story for T&R ...

January 16, 2011  02:53 PM ET

Stephen Wallace? Are you kidding me? His father was an ace and he's in the wall. (I thought that was funny, sorry.)

Good afternoon posters, all I can say is Ohhhh no not another Wallace in Cup racing, isn't this kid the one that wrecks all the time, Daytona should be interesting then. LOL----good to see a new story.

January 16, 2011  04:45 PM ET

EarnTaz...you might still have to go to jayski and drag out a story....LOL
Hate to see anyone with family being unemployed, so glad he got some races......he can make over $200,000 if he has ok finishes.......that is not too shabby for a part time job......he can also be the "go to back driver" in both Cup and NW..... LOL

So much has changed in the past few years.
From generation to generation of racing fans all areas of the sport have been altered.
I hope for a good comeback in this 2011 season.

Just noticed an oops in my comment #10
I said that Hornish could be the "go to back driver"....I forgot the word "up"....meant to type' go to back~up driver"......amazing how much one word changes the whole meaning LOL

Good Day to all, It is MLK Day and I wish there was peace here as he tried to bring, I feel so bad that certain posters just can't get along. It's a Shame. Have a great day, and if you can find it in your heart stop and say a small prayer for the peacemaker. God Bless you All.

He tried the " have at it boys " and you can rest assured he won't do it back in the States.
I always liked him as a driver but I guess I always liked the aggressive type. Dale Sr., Stewart, Kyle, Keselowski. I like the guys that have the attitude of my car is a little faster than yours, so get out of my way. LOL

Thats what made short track racing and some of NASCAR -- now the latter wants everyone to wear a skirt ... (no disrepect to the ladies meant)
