White explains difficulties dealing with Lesnar

"Wilderness Compound"? It's not Camp David. It's a former small farm with less than 100 acres outside a summer lake resort town in Central MN.

Lesnar was a stand out collegiate athlete, tried out for the NFL and was a star in the WWE. How much of a recluse is he really? I don't really see Brock being dazzled by the 'bright lights of Sin City'. This article leaves out the fact that "White somehow" concincing Lesnar to be on TUF was less about Lesnar overcoming his fictional fear of the spotlight and more about White offering Brock enough $$$ to return.

It wouldn't be so "difficult" if Lesnar had won last time. Brock's being a pouty-ass.

I don't understand how someone who is still learning the trade can be an effective coach. I mean, the coaches on TUF have been top practitioners of the art - GSP, Tito, Chuck, etc. Lesner would be a great contestant.

Not that big of a deal...white offered to not test Lesnar for steroids for two years.

Seriously though, Lesnar is a poor choice for coach...he doesn't know much about MMA himself. He also wouldn't give a crap about any of his fighter, anyway.

That's becoming a common problem. Koschek was useless as a coach (then again he looked pretty useless fighting GSP too). Other bad ones were Tito, Rampage, Penn, Mir, Bisping. The fighters under all these guys had to train and fight despite their coaches not because they helped. Rampage didn't even stay for some of his fights.

GSP showed what these guys should be doing. He brought in great trainers, and actually taught his guys. You could definitely see that Koschek's guys knew they got the shor end.

Lesnar's just going to be playing the WWF fool that he always does for the cameras.

Too true. Lesnar will never regain a title unless he dramatically steps up his game. And after the beating Cain gave him I think Lesnar is going to be tenative in the ring, and open himself up to more beatings.

While I'm not a Tito fan, to say he wasn't a good coach on the show illustrates that you simply don't know anything about MMA or you're simply a homer. Probably both. Tito was an excellent coach on the show. And FYI - White has NOTHING to do with Steroid testing that would be the athletic commission. Thanks for proving that you actually know less than nothing about MMA...

The most overrated fighter ever? Um, that would be Randy Couture - hands down. Listen, Randy has been a decent fighter - but people call him Captain America and that's a joke. He's 19-10 in MMA - and really, his last two wins have been laughable - against Toney and of course against the shell of Mark Coleman. And Randy LOST that fight to Vera - so that's three of his wins that are somewhat tainted. Not to mention his alleged victory over Pedro Rizzo - a fight that stil affects Couture to this day, as those kicks permanently damaged Couture. Lesnar is overrated. Just not as overrated as *ahem* Captain America...

Just don't bring him out without a leash.

Could it be that the said "reclusive" Lesnar is just going back to what he knows after having his one fighting technique foiled and the illustrious awe factor of being an unstoppable "force" extinguished.

Call me crazy, but the sport is called "mixed martial arts", for a reason. If we wanted to see the same dive-tackle-"ground and pound" moves or single faceted approach, I would say Lesnar is the coach for the job.

But there is no way around saying, Lesnar can stay at his "compound" for all we care, and for that matter, let someone with some actual talent, as opposed to Television flair, become a coach.

Maybe then the UFC would actually comeout of the series with some fighters and not airtime appeal or some weakminded fly-by-night fighting flavor of the month.

Lesnar is going to get KTFO'd again. As big as he is, he's still got a glass jaw

This is true... rating is what TUF is all about, and they will get it with lesnar. He will have enough coaching help to be effective.

WWE has nothing in common, to do with or supplies anything applicable to MMA. Now, if you'd stated he might go back to his COLLEGIATE wrestling roots, which he is WELL versed in and perhaps be a great coach. Yeah, I might buy into that.
