08:11 AM ET 01.18 | With more bad news than good this season, the Trail Blazers suffer worrisome news even in an encouraging win. On the one hand, the Blazers enjoyed their highest-scoring outing of the season and LaMarcus Aldridge had another All-Star caliber performance. ... But on the other hand -- surprise, surprise -- the Blazers encountered yet another injury. And it could be another significant one. Marcus Camby hurt his left knee when he went up to block a shot attempt by Minnesota forward Michael Beasley early in the first quarter. Camby, who said he "landed a little awkward" on the way down from the block attempt, left the game after playing just 7:30 and did not return. The Blazers' starting center is expected to undergo a magnetic resonance imaging Tuesday morning to determine the extent of his ailment, but he left the Rose Garden "a little sore" Monday night.

Wow, if he goes down and Portland can squeeze into the playoffs, Aldridge deserves MVP votes.

Wow......it is almost like it is contagious in that city.

Camby has always been fragile. When the Knicks had him he was hurt a lot of the time.

Guess this hurts his trade value?

So when are they going to mention a "star" player????

January 18, 2011  02:49 PM ET

Failed to be mentioned in this post was Rudy Fernandez was fouled hard at the end out the first half, hurt his knee bad and didn't return until 2:00 left in the third quarter, with a fancy new knee brace.

Portland the only fanbase in the entire NBA that has a legal right to bandwagon to another team.
