08:01 AM ET 01.19 | Antrel Rolle believes the grass is greener on the other side of the stadium. Rolle ripped into Tom Coughlin in a radio interview on Monday while praising the way Jets coach Rex Ryan treats his players. Both he and safety Kenny Phillips made it clear they'd love to play for a guy like Ryan, as opposed to Coughlin, who Rolle said is "too uptight." ... "Honestly, I'm not having the fun I'm used to having," Rolle said. "As a person, I don't have any problems with Coach Coughlin. I mean, we have a great relationship. We have a great understanding. But when you're talking about the coaching side of things, do I feel like things are a little too uptight? Yeah, I do."

So... let's see.

You were a Free Agent. You signed a contract with the Giants. The coach of the Giants was known. And now, Coach is "uptight".

I'm looking for my sympathy bag but just can't seem to locate it...

The Secondary wasn't exactly the strong point of the Defense, was it?

Shouldn't that be <rolleing eyes>? ha ha

First, we have a thread about Cutler who lacks social skills. Now, we have a thread about Rolle who wants a more laid-back coach who is in touch with his feelings. Damn it! I thought this was football! Bunch of sissies!

Some guys burn their bridges after they cross them. This guy seems to be burning his bridge while he's still on it.

From what I hear, the grass isn't greener in Chicago.

January 19, 2011  08:34 AM ET

So, the point of this story is Rolle has a man-crush on Rexy???

January 19, 2011  08:34 AM ET

I always thought that there might be some kind of a connection between Coughlin and R. Lee Ermey. I could be wrong.

Laurence Maroney has just discovered that grass isn't particularly green in St. Louis, either.

he tap dances too much to know what is really under his feet anyway.

Coughlin won a Super Bowl doing it his way. Has Antrel Rolle won anything at any level doing it his way?
