08:01 AM ET 01.20 | Jim Washburn's arrival could mean the arrival of one of his most successful projects. Albert Haynesworth's career is in tatters these days. ... Haynesworth has five years left on the seven-year, $100 million contract he signed with the Redskins just 23 months ago, but he does not appear to fit into the Redskins' plans. It was in Tennessee under Washburn that Haynesworth enjoyed his greatest success. Washburn was the Oilers' and Titans' defensive line coach from 1998 until Wednesday, when he left Nashville to accept the same position on Andy Reid's staff with the Eagles.

I don't think his salary fits in with the Eagles plans either.

Could... But won't... Sorry Philly... The only way that will happen is if the Skins release Haynesworth. No deal can be made for any trades until a new CBA is put in place.
Forget about it.

I hate both teams so either way, it is a win/win! However, I do not think the Skins are smart enough to take advantage of the Eagles. Some how Snyder will buy sand at the beach because he thinks it will help him win a Superbowl.

What's disappointing to me is Redskin fans crying because Shanny is speculated to take chance on Cam Newton with our first overall pick.... They cry saying that's too big of a gamble... How can that be a bigger gamble than benching Donavan McNabb for Rex Gross?

Losing Washburn was a big blow to the Titans. But, no job security beyond the coming year, Wash had to take care of himself.

No one will trade for that contract. They need to cut him before any bonuses come due.

Hayneworth's contract is only 5.6 million for next year. he's definitely moveable if we can find a sucker to do it.

Where ever that fat turd falls is where he lands. Problem with him is he takes so long to get back up.
