Simon Gagne skated for 45 minutes yesterday and reported no dizziness, vision problems or other concussion symptoms. The Flyers left winger said he felt "pretty good." Yesterday, he passed the baseline test, which shows whether a player's reflexes are impaired as a result of a concussion. Gagne was cleared for full activity and will practice with the team today. He could play in tomorrow's game against the Rangers in New York.

This is very good news for the Flyers. They have looked unstable so far without Simon and it will be very nice having him back so quickly.

They need him back,

With Gags back they can work on some stability on the top three lines. Nothing could gel until Upshall started the season. Now that everybody is in, Stevens can tinker for the best fit and productive results.

This guy used to be such a skinny guy. Is it just me or is he getting huge!!! Watch out Chara, looks like Gagne is turning out to be the next Monster in the league!! I guess Mcabe needs to BEWARE!

Cripes, he SHOULD be getting bigger. I like Gagne, but he sure seems to get hurt alot. Has he played every game in a season yet? I know this one isn't his fault or anything, but him toughening up a bit can't be a bad idea, for him and for the team. Especially with the way they've been playing...they hurt one more guy this year you can expect to see other teams taking runs at their top players (if the other teams aren't already), so Gagne had better keep his head on a swivel. I'm not saying its right (and I'm not jumping on the "Trash the Dirty Flyers" Bandwagon either, I'm just saying what I see maight happen...
