07:02 AM ET 01.23 | Pitt's emphasis on recruiting in Texas will skyrocket with the hiring Todd Graham from Tulsa and TCU joining the Big East Conference to give Pitt and the rest of the struggling football conference a much higher profile among Texas players. Graham also has hired Texas high school coaching legend Todd Dodge, who won four state titles with a fifth appearance in a Class 5A championship in five years at Southlake Carroll before taking on the head coaching gig at North Texas, which ended in November.

Yeah, Texas kids will be tearing down the walls to go to PITT once they see that awesome Panthers program getting sodomized by TCU every fall.

GR, good sarcasm and I hope you are right. TCU had a special group this year. They still should be good but a little down unless the "newbies" come around quickly. In fact, they may very well have a hard time winning the MWC their last year in it and I'm not so sure they will immediately dominate the Big Least. If they had this year's team the next two years, then yes...but they don't.

Just stay out of Ohio.

I just hope that Pitt doesn't end up recruiting felons and imbeciles and it ends up looking like a typical SEC team.

Good call. Rest assured TCU will not use lubricant either. In fact, they may just sprinkle some sand on it.....

Did you pay attention to Pitt this past summer? Every other week somebody was getting a DUI on Carson or throwing a guy through a window. Wannstedt already let the team get a little out of control.
