Hawks discipline Powell

08:44 AM ET 01.23 | Forward Josh Powell was suspended for the Charlotte game for conduct detrimental to the team following the Friday loss to New Orleans. He did not make the trip with the team. Coach Larry Drew would not go into details, saying only that he and Powell had a "conversation" after the game, and then Drew made the decision to suspend Powell.

Coach Drew's way of 'calling the team out' was by "burning the tapes"!!!

I understand it is a one-off game, and with no Al, and coming off of a huge win at Miami. But THERE IS NO excuse for such a pathetic performance, AND brushing off that loss so casually by the coach. I expect such immature comments from Smith, Powell et al, but the coach? I don't know what the Hawks management saw in Drew and gave him the job. I haven't seen a darn thing worth reporting!
