08:15 AM ET 01.25 | After Monday's game against Sacramento, LaMarcus Aldridge reportedly underwent X-rays for a sore right hip. Rich Cho said it is unlikely the team will find out the results until Tuesday morning. Aldridge had surgery on his left hip in 2005 as a freshman at Texas. The soreness he is experiencing now is in his right hip. Aldridge, who was named the Western Conference Player of the Week earlier in the day, had his worst game in more than a month on Monday, finishing with nine points, seven rebounds and four turnovers while shooting 4-for-14 from the field.

Toughest job in the NBA is being a Blazers fan. What a roller coaster ride that must be with a lot of frustrations.

You can say that again... From the Clyde Drexler (contention) days to the Jail Blazers to being a player or 2 away from being considered legit contenders and back to mediocrity because of injuries... Ouch!

Now some positive news... Cleveland played very well against New Jersey.

They would have to pay me to be a Trailblazer fan. I support the Lakers for free.

By no means are the Lakers automatic to win the title this year--much less even make the finals. That said, the Mamba is arguably the best ever, Gasol is an emerging superstar and Bynum (provided her can get/stay healthy) puts them in good position to contend for another coupla of seasons. At the minimum. (Sorry, Zeke.)
