08:02 AM ET 01.26 | Patrick Peterson was in Mobile, Ala., Tuesday with the dual purpose of supporting his teammates and to meet with NFL teams as his draft stock skyrockets. Peterson reportedly had meetings with the Panthers and the Broncos, the teams with the first two picks, but he insisted that was secondary as he sat in the stands at Ladd-Peebles Stadium. "Not at all," he said when asked if he was nervous about how his life will change in the next three-four months. ... He hasn't heard from the NFL about being invited to New York nor a specific team, he said.

How can a draftee's stock 'skyrocket' when he was already considered a Top 10 pick originally?

A CB that high? Would be very very surprised. Never happen. If they are interested in this guy it is because they want to trade out of those draft spots and get him later.

Broncos better take a defensive end. Need someone on the other side of Elvis if he comes back in the building.

A CB isn't worth the number 1. Take the DE.

If ANY QB goes #1 they will want a fortune to sign. I see the Niners taking the first CB in the draft @ #10.

With all the holes the Donkeys have on defense I bet they wish they had all the picks back they wasted getting Tebow.

Tebow was a great pick. Thomas (drafted before Tebow) might not have been the greatest move. In fairness, Thomas was hurt much of last season, so I will give him a little more time...
Tebow's 3 game performance actually gives the faithful some hope.

The one thing that both sides are going to agree on in the CBA is a rookie wage scale. This is going to make the first pick more reasonable financially, meaning a CB becomes more of a possibility. The Panthers would be foolish to go for a CB when they have so many other holes, but the Broncos pass D...needs work. Elvis coming back helps the pass rush, so CB may be the way to go.
