Vick treated as star of stars

08:11 AM ET 01.28 | Michael Vick is living the suite life in Hawaii. The NFL surprised [Vick] with the ultimate perk on Tuesday: the 4,200-square-foot presidential suite at the official hotel of the Pro Bowl. It was a reflection of just how far the player who used to be a pariah has come. There are 86 players at the coastline resort on the west side of Oahu, the elitist of the NFL's elite, save for the six Green Bay Packers and four Pittsburgh Steelers who were invited but will be playing in the Super Bowl. As evidenced by his posh digs, Vick is hands-down the headliner.

Yeah, I was his biggest critic when his whole scandal blew wide open. I don't take back what I said and thought of him then as what he did was beyond terrible. But he IS doing great things with this second chance he's been given. As far as I'm concerned, he will always have to pay for his past, and rightly so, but he should be given the opportunity to WORK for a future. He sure is working hard.

Mike Vick's involvement makes the Pro Bowl almost worth watching. Almost.

Almost. But still no.

Just curious - are any of the Bears or Jets actually going to play in this game. As stupid as it is to have your "all-star" game and exclude the two best teams, I'm thinkin' that the way it's scheduled, they actually exclude the top 4 teams.

You can take the scumbag out of the ghetto but you can't take the ghetto out of the scumbag. Time will find this scumbag back to his old tricks soon enough.

Good comment. Everyone deserves a second chance.

Does everybody here really think this thug won't show his true colors again?... wasn't it just this past off-season he ignored his terms of probation and hosted a big party with his thug buddies and one of his old partners in crime showed up?... and there was a shooting that followed... yeah - that really shows a respect... he's been well coached - on how to deal with the media and say the right things... but his ghetto lifestyle will return... and all you supporters will be dumbfounded how you trusted this dog-killer... the dog-killing was just a part of all this.. don't forget the multiple multiple times he falt out lied to all those around him...
