Heat's trust issues exposing one-man shows

08:14 AM ET 01.28 | Doth protest too much? Probably aware that TNT's Reggie Miller, Steve Kerr and Marv Albert had correctly surmised on air that Miami's players lacked trust in each other on the court, the Heat responded after the game by volunteering just how much they'd trusted each other all night long. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra played the trust card afterward, dropping the word several times. So did LeBron James. [Dwyane] Wade, too. Not buying it. All night, players did one-on-one drills and turned isolation into the only offense in the playbook. ... For three quarters, the Heat consisted of a series of one-man shows, with only the goggled-up Wade doing it well.

Trying to warn you Heat fans. The team will rise or fail and it will all rest with Lebron. You will finally see first hand how we knew in Cleveland. That is why we had the players we have around Lebron. Wade should be the closer but now this is Lebrons team. The players will watch Lebron do his thing. Most of the time its good with Lebron scoring alot and winning (regular season). But it is clearly not good in playoffs.

WASUP DEE! Bad loss for the heat But your right about giving the ball to the closer or at least the hot hand, either way the Knickers got a good win and Some NY Homers will start talking Spit about the victory Like Lostwill.....

A lot of teams have the chance to be title contenders like the Knicks and Pacers if they get their crap together but teams like the bobkittens and Sucky bucks have lost their mojo and i don't think they'll go all the way this year....

That's what makes Lebron fool's gold. He falters with decision making at crunch time that's why Wade needs to step in and make sure there's only one closer on the team and it has to be him. But I don't know if Spo has the ballz to put Lebron in his place. As a Knicks fan its all good.

Goes to the heart of what I've been saying... Miami has 3 great individual basketball players... but when it comes to playing the GAME of TEAM basketball the don't play that great at all.
The Heat are 1-8 in games decided by 5 points or less. That doesn't bode well in a playoff scenario. Knowing how to close out a tight game is where game experience counts the most. It's the basketball IQ that matters most then. And that's something the Heat are seriously short on
