Cowboys-Eagles bulletin board material

Cowboys DE Marcus Spears was feeling mighty confident after sharing a sack and forcing a fumble on the first possession against the Eagles. "It was fun," Spears said of the win. "It reminded me of high school. We were a dominant team and you go in and the school will know it's going to be over by the third quarter, and the only people left in the stands are the families and diehard fans." Reckon that quote might be featured on Philly's bulletin board the week of Dec. 16?

So your POV was so important you had to post it twice? The Cowboys-Eagles rivalry has been going on much longer than the Pats-Colts. But to the myopic that might not mean much.

man owens really stuck it to the fans in philly, the whole boys crew got into it this week. nice work guys. and for the first two or three comments, you guys are idoits this is a cowboys-eagles bulletin board, nobody cares for the patsys here or the colts for that mattter

PimpyLooka and Three last time I checked this was about the Cowboys and Eagles not Colts and Pats....Romo took over that game last night...the D played great the team was just on point last night

November 5, 2007  07:42 AM ET

I agree, the Colts-Pats game was lots more important than to hear about another pro player being a big mouthed SOB!!! .

All I have to say about the Colts and Patriot game is the refs REALLY tried to homer the Pats..One of the interference calls was BOGUS..The stats confirm this--Pat's 10 penalties for 146 yards and the home team 4 penalities for 25 yards...Thought the officials are not supposed to try to sway the out come of the game!!! Well they didn't but they sure in the he tried!!!

The Colts are a great team, they shouldn't have to have the officials help them!!!!

November 5, 2007  07:52 AM ET

No where for us Patriot fans to post about out game so we got on this one---

As for the Cowboy game last night, the Boys showed Philly that Romo is a keeper... I love to watch him play, he has so much energy and fun!!! You Cowboy fans have a long time to cheer Romo on because he is going to be good for a long-long time.... I like the Boys but CAN'T stand TO...

November 5, 2007  08:02 AM ET

I'm a Philly fan...and even I have to say...if they don't want some one mouthing off like that about the team, then start getting something done on the field...Simple as that. I suppose all I have to look forward to now is the draft...ho hum and its only November...

Anyway, the Colts Pats game was GREAT! Thats what more games in the NFL should be. But cmon Pats fans...Everyone who is a Patriots fan swore up and down that this was going to be a complete blow out...which it was not. In fact, the Colts defense pretty much had its way with a Patriots Offense that was supposedly unstoppable.

Bad calls are part of the game and yes, the Patriots caught a couple. But they, just like every other NFL team, catch a couple bad calls every game. Your only crying about it now because it really mattered this time.

The fact is, that the Patriots were hands down...the soon to be Superbowl Champs this year.....................and now that may not necessarily be true.

Three!,
You might as well face the fact that Marvin Harrison Wasn't playing. Just like I said, It would be low scoring and a close game. But again, they didn't have Harrison. The game would have resulted in a W for the Colts.

The Pats won thats great. Belichick will go after the Undefeated season and Brady will get hurt. If they rest their players like they should they win the Super Bowl. But I still think that when the Colts play the Pats again the Colts will win. They will have their two Starting OLB's and WR Marvin Harrison back.

You are such a Doush Bag!

CB Anthony Henry looked good and he is still 70%. Tank Johnson is going to rotate in this week.

The Giants game will be huge! I am confident that the Cowboys will win this one as well. Our Defense will be 100% healthy by this game. Finally we can see CB Terrance Newman and CB Anthony Henry on opposite sides.

November 5, 2007  08:16 AM ET

PimpyLooka,
The Patriots have had EVERY CALL going for them prior to One Bad call last night. Its funny to hear the Patriots fans say the same thing we were all saying.

Besides, the Colts got screwed on that Long pass to Moss. The RT was holding and he was pulling Robert Mathis's Face mask. That play should have never happend.

I will give it too Belichek and the OC. They had the PERFECT Designed routes to Beat the Cover 2 Defense. They had Moss split left with Welker in the Slot. Welker ran a Post which held up FS Antione Bethea and Moss ran a streak..........The CB has to stay in his zone and the FS had to make up a lot of ground because he had to make sure that Welker didnt get the ball. Alot of you dont really understand how to read defenses and how to beat certain Coverages.......But that was ran to perfection.

November 5, 2007  08:16 AM ET

Yeah anyway, getting back to the topic of the thread, it looks like the road that goes through Philly is an expressway of shame. Absolutly hate the Cowgirls, but that was straight up ownage.

November 5, 2007  08:25 AM ET

I still give Philly Props....early in the 4th Quarter with Dallas on the Goal line, Philly stopped Marion Barber and showed tons of Heart.

Did you Patriot fans see how Football is supposed to be played.....Dont run up the Score, and on 4th Down..........Kick Field Goals CHUMPS!

BTW,
When Manning threw his 49TDs. He threw only 1 TD in the 4th Quarter of any game that season.

Brady has thrown 6.....5 TDs with already having a 17+ Lead on the opposing Team. That is Classless......If you cant see that......you are STUPID!

WOW Ferrell, you totally shocked me with that comment!! I really thought you would say we Pats fans were nuts saying the interference calls were BAD calls...

I kind of liked it too, that McNabb opened his mouth and the Boys promptly(SP) shut him up..
