Never heard of the guy

The bullpen is certainly the weakest part of their pitching staff. If they shore that up, they're going to be reallly tough to beat.

It'd be nice if the Phillies were chasing the Jason Grilli in the photo, rather than the real Jason Grilli.

There is no known photo of Jason Grilli.

QUOTE(#7):

So, if he signs with Philadelphia, he would be Grilli the Phillie?Surely the Phillies have a better answer.

The Phillies answer is to have the starters pitch 8-9 innings. Also, they're counting on basket case Lidge to come through big time next year. It's the baseball version of pull and pray.

Many baby-mamas have been created from this approach to birth control. Just ask Jalen Rose
