Is 76er Iguodala tradeable?

09:42 AM ET 01.30 | Should the 76ers trade Andre Iguodala? Opportunities absolutely do exist for the Sixers to receive expiring contracts for Iguodala, although the level of "basketball value" the Sixers could find in return is probably uneven to the level of "basketball value" Iguodala possesses. The discrepancy exists because of Iguodala's over-the-top contract, on which he is still owed approximately $44 million through the 2013-14 season.

Yea, I think he'd be a great fit with the Bulls. He's a great defender and has enough offense to fill that 2-guard spot without being the type of player that would demand the ball or need to score 20+ points a game to be happy. But I just don't see what the Bulls could give the Sixers. With their bigs constantly getting hurt, they can't afford to part ways with Gibson and trading Deng for Iggy would seem to be pointless in my opinion.

The Sixers might as well explore trades for him because they are going nowhere with him. I would look for draft picks though before expiring contracts because as proven by the Nets , having all the cap space in the world means nothing if no one wants to play there.

they get nothing out of the SG position. AI can add toughness on both ends of the court. They are a lot closer then you realize as well.

Has there ever been an instance where a team dealt their best player, and it proved to be a good move?
