10:46 AM ET 01.30 | Indians general manager Chris Antonetti tried his best to squash rumors of Grady Sizemore and Fausto Carmona being discussed in a deal with the Nationals. The Indians don't have many draws on their gutted team, but Sizemore is one of them. Don't bet against him or Carmona being major trade deadline chips if they are injury-free and perform well.

They would be nuts to trade Sizemore but then we are talking about Cleveland.

kid had talent, he needs a new start

As much as it would suck for Indians fans, trading Sizemore may ultimately be the best thing for the club. Of course, they'd have to get good players in return. The only question is whether they would recognize good players if they saw them.

OK Chissoxfan, I will stop using the word blog and use "place" instead. No problem.
I am not obsessed with Slink, I am like a moderator of sorts for a tightly knit group of folks

I guess we all need a purpose in life. Good luck on your quest, Don Quixote.

Sizemore probably isn't gonna bring much in return right now, let him get on the field and show he's healthy and the Indians may get a nice ransom for him.

QUOTE(#10):

Hard to believe that the Indians were so close in '07. Seems like a long time ago for that club.

They were a team that had one of the best front offices in all of baseball. All teams go through bad cycles, some last longer than others, hopefully they will pull out of it before too long.

Yeah, Cleveland definitely needs a winner. LeBron....the Browns...the Indians...ouch.

It's sure tough on a city when all the teams are down. It looks like the Browns are slowly buiding a decent team.
