11:11 AM ET 01.30 | A second-half collapse at Clemson on Tuesday followed by a virtual no-show Saturday at North Carolina has put N.C. State coach Sidney Lowe in an obvious jam. He's running short on chances to salvage this season - and perhaps his job - the way his team is running short on buckets.

Don't you just love it when a newspaper jumps on the bandwagon to get a coach fired?

Doggonit! I've no time to read/view/post to T&R during the week, and, with a new cube exposed to maximum visibility, I cannot surf the cbb threads, even if I have a couple of minutes at lunch. Just my luck, no pics on Sunday...

That's all right. He still has his gig on "Meet the Brown's", Tyler Perry's popping new comedy shown on TBS on Wednesdays.

I need shades to be able to look at Coach Lowe's sport coat. And I thought Nick Saban was in need of a wardrobe makeover.

This jacket will get him a job at the local cinema, ripping tickets and pointing to the screen of choice.

For you, Tinman.

The News and Observer has reported that Susan Yow, the athletic director, has been attending the games with interest. I would also say that getting humiliated by Carolina does not enhance one's job security as the coach of the highest profile sport at NCSU.

The onus is on him, if he does not make the NCAA, I think that he will be gone.

Susan Yow is not our athletic director. Debbie Yow is. Both, however, were sisters of Kay's, so I can understand the confusion.

It's just about all over but the shouting at this point, but I have all the faith in the world that Debbie will handle this coaching search far, far more competently that the comedy of errors orchestrated by our previous AD, Lee Fowler.
