08:08 AM ET 02.03 | John Elway isn't rushing to judge his quarterbacks in Denver. The Broncos' executive vice president of football operations said no decision has been made about who will be the team's starting quarterback in 2011, and that Kyle Orton "is definitely part of the equation." While many in and around the Broncos, including perhaps Orton himself, assumed Tim Tebow would be the team's starter, Elway said neither he nor the team's coach, John Fox, has made that decision. Asked if Orton is still the team's starting quarterback, Elway responded: "If we had to go right now, but we've got to make a decision about where we're going to go."

Ahhhh, the QB situation in Denver is clearly NOT sorted out. Still, it's nice to see Elway around again. I suppose he needs a job after loosing his shirt in that ponzi scheme.

Between Shanahan and McDaniels, there is a huge mess left to clean up in Denver.

Y'know, I think some other team is going to be very happy to get Kyle Orton. And Kyle Orton will be just as happy to be with some other team.

And Tebow will never achieve his potential, because he's stuck in Denver.

Agreed. Time to dynamite the stadium with the team in it and start over.

Now McDaniels gets to destroy another offense in St. Louis, be afraid Rams fans, be very afraid.

That was funny. It would seem that if you are investing that type of money, you need to thoroughly investigate who you are dealing with.

Tebow has the potential to do something in the NFL, but if the Broncos wanted him that badly, they could have waited until a later round to pick him, you don't draft "projects" in the first round.

The Shanahan stench still clings to the Broncos.Poor Redskins are doomed to more years of mediocrity.

True.

Pretty simple. If they think they can win right now, you play Orton until it becomes obvious they are simply building for the future. Then you go to Tebow. You can't simply go into the season in rebuild mode, not with a Head Coach like John Fox, because you need veterans to give maximum effort. And you need to bring some free agents in. Tebow will be a good QB. He has the work ethic and physical ability.... it just may not happen Day 1 of next season.

McDaniels will be awesome for the Rams offense. He is a great offensive mind, but he was way over his head being a head coach and making personnel decisions.

Were I a Broncos fan, I wouldn't feel good about the fact that John Elway feels who starts at quarterback is, in any part, his decision. I wonder if John Fox has any problem with this.

QUOTE(#13):

I agree that Tebow needs to be brought up to speed slowly, behind a veteran.A lot of good young QBs have been ruined by going as high draft picks to poor teams and getting the crap beat out of them.

Bingo. Let the kid learn. Let Orton play. Simmer down, everything doesn't need to happen at warp speed.

Oh good. More Tebow.

That should make season ticket holders feel better.
