Miller: Griffin undeserving of All-Star spot

08:21 AM ET 02.05 | Anger over LaMarcus Aldridge's omission surfaced in Portland almost immediately at the Trail Blazers' practice but not from the snubbed player. It was from Blake Griffin's nemesis, Andre Miller. A former Clipper, Miller, who was suspended for a game after smashing into Griffin, declared that the young guys were getting too much respect in the NBA. "They are putting this guy on every ESPN highlight," he said to the Oregonian. "Yeah, it's cool because fans want to see that, but you isolate him from his team. Especially ... he ain't made nobody better. It's basically his rookie year, as an All-Star? LeBron James didn't make an All-Star team as a rookie." Miller added that he wasn't "a hater."

Oh may God! I'm first to post! This is the highlight of my life. Back to the topic. As a Blazer fan I'll say this. Blake and Kevin Love earned and deserve to be on the All-Star team. I also have a fear that if LeMarcus was on the team, he would get hurt and be out for the rest of the season.

If I am a NBA player, I wouldnt **** care about getting an All Star spot. I would rather take a few days off and enjoy the holidays LOL

They say old men talk too much and while I see some value in what they have to say Miller is dead wrong on this one. Blake deserves to be there more than anyone. For his age and inexperience it's amazing how hard he's worked to get to the top and bring along a team that mastered the art of losing over the years.
Love was added by Stern so he's more of an opportunist that a legitimate all star player. I won't put stock into him yet because of the Wolves' terrible record. One thing I know for sure is that Miller is not an all star!

All talent and stats aside, I have to say, that Griffin is a bit of a punk. Kind of in the KG mode. Yaps a lot, pushes, shoves a lot, and nothing irritated me as much as what happened in ATL last night.
CLEARLY went to hurt both Marvin and Al. There is NO room for that in the NBA. I understand he is playing to win, and doesn't want to give up an easy score. But more than anyone, he should know what a season-ending injury means.
I GUARANTEE this, someone is gonna put a lot of hurt on Blake, because he does exactly that! If you can dish it out, be prepared to get it back also!
With all that said, Miller is an idiot. he needs a change of diapers.

That makes no sense and really isn't relevant or something that needed to be said. Miller has always been a punk. He thinks he has a right to say these things but he hasn't accomplished anything. He's only upset because the young upstart team he joined expecting to be the leader hasn't stayed healthy enough for him to lead.

He CLEARLY went straight up. Both his arms were straight up, he jumped straight up and the two of them collided. Shaq does it every game and no one complains. I hate how many haters there are for this kid. He plays hard which is more than I can say for most of the hawks players. Yes Griffin will get his someday but he can take it, he hasn't backed down from anyone yet

Miller is right in a sense.......I would feel better if guys like Parker, Aldridge would have got the spot....simply because their teams are better...if i was going to go with a guy on a losing team.....It should have been either Love , Or Zach randolph..

Love has been playing his tail off this yr and should have been ahead of both Duncan and Griffin. Miller has a point. If lebron didn't make it his first yr, get Griffin off the list
