Possible suitors for Nash

08:41 AM ET 02.05 | The odds of Steve Nash being traded in the next nineteen days remain slim. All season long, the Phoenix Suns have maintained that Nash isn't going anywhere because he's too important to the team and it would be nearly impossible for the Suns to obtain equal value in deal that involved their star player. The Atlanta Hawks, Orlando Magic, Portland Trail Blazers, Dallas Mavericks, Minnesota Timberwolves and Toronto Raptors are among the teams that have repeatedly expressed serious interest in Nash, according to the report. Even though Nash likely won't be on the move, this list pulls the curtain back on several teams and raises some interesting questions as the deadline approaches.

Orlando needs him but it would look strange trading for him after taking on Gilbert Arenas massive contract. Why get Gil if you aren't going to use him?

The Magic think Arenas can regain his quickness and explosiveness but I just don't see that happening. Orlando may have a lot of interest in Nash but no pieces to get him. What they need to do is try and acquire Camby, Haywood, Pryzbilla somebody to give Howard some help in the paint.

Nash will retire a Sun and get a statue built for him at the Suns arena. He's the best thing that's happened to the franchise since Barkley.

Dont they have Howard and Bass? That is some size bro....

You're right that is size....They just need them to play all 48 minutes of every game. They need someone with size to come off the bench to help Howard.

He would be awesome on the Bulls.

QUOTE(#16):

Maybe, but nobody wants to play for the hawks. They have no bench other than Crawford and if Joe Johnson doesn't play 44 minutes a night they likely lose...

bro .....with nash on that team they would soar...they got enough young talent that he would have smith and horford at true all star level...and joe would just fit right in....if you look at their record they are right up there with the elite teams in the east....the right move would take them over the top and the point guard spot is what they need

Come to LA, Bro.
