08:35 AM ET 02.06 | Miami which did not sign a quarterback in this recruiting class, is being considered by two quarterbacks who are transferring. Tate Forcier, who is transferring from Michigan, told ESPN on Saturday that he has narrowed his options to UM, Kansas State, Washington, Arizona and Montana. Quarterback Tom Savage, who is transferring from Rutgers, is reportedly considering UM, Florida and Arizona, among other schools. Rutgers recently reversed an earlier decision and granted him permission to speak to UM and UF.

Translation: we are searching for the place that has the least amount of potential competition at the QB position.

Obviously they are both afraid of competition which is the reason they transferred in the first place.

This has been discussed to death, Van. The media only likes bringing up Notre Dame if the news can be cast in a negative light somehow. Notre Dame's 2011 recruiting class was so solid there's literally nothing they can do to spin it badly. So they just sweep it under the rug and move on.

And Vanderbilt might one day win a National Championship.

You need to ask Professor Peabody to set the wayback machine for February 6, 2012.

I don't consider it arrogance when there's ample evidence that the media in general enjoys picking at the carcass of Notre Dame Football as much as possible.
