09:01 AM ET 02.06 | Knicks team president Donnie Walsh, who has been trying to trade Anthony Randolph and get a third team involved for a Carmelo Anthony blockbuster, might have found a match for both. A source familiar with the situation said the Knicks, Timberwolves and Nuggets have discussed a three-team trade that would bring Anthony to the Knicks while Randolph, Wilson Chandler and Eddy Curry's expiring contract would depart. "There are discussions," the source said yesterday.

And ps,, luv.......will you finally admit that it was melo refusing to sign the net extension that prevented that deal from happenng? Cause seriously speaking .....this is a FAR lesser deal Forget what you 'read', just open your eyes and look at how things are unfolding....it has always been melo driver vng the bus

he was still sicking to his story yesterday, I just told Luv, I rather listen to his agent than YOu. You havnt been right about a lot of things.

IF Walsh can pull this off, he should be considered 1 of the best GMs this year. Losing only chandler from the rotation and replacing him w/Melo. WOW

How many times have we all heard of deals about done and then they fall through especially with Carmelo Anthony. When I see him in a different jersey, I will believe it.

Melo has pretty much made it clear he wanted to play in NY w/Amare. I feel this is why so many deals fall through is b/c of the extension. He has stood firim which is good for NYKs

there are reports that Dolan is pressuring Walsh to get a deal done for Melo. I wish he would shut up, give walsh the extension and let him run the business since he has done a great job so far.

Dolan is just going to drive up the price for melo

one of the sticking points of the NETS trade with that DENVER wanted to cut payroll by $12m to get under the Luxury Tax level (IE Paid Tax on Eddy / Troy exp. contacts, NO) ..... and MINNY is under the CAP, so it can take Eddy contact without needing to sent out equal salaries....

On ESPN it's also a First round pick from MINNY to Denver, ... wonder which one of the three MINNY, Utah, or maybe Memphis' own 2011 1st round pick to Minny via Utah top 14 protected, in 2011, top 12 protected in 2012, etc. ... if I am Denver I want MINNY PICK

any who it a Steal for MELO

I can't believe these Knicks fans don't know anything about the NY Post. Of all the reliable NY media, these NY fans don't know the NY Post. How gullible are you guys? Give it 2 weeks before you guys start celebrating again. Didn't you guys learn from the LeFake debacle?

ESPN, Hoopshype and hoopsworld are all reporting this.

The only thing I can honestly say that has been consistent for months is that he wanted to go to New York.

he has been consistant w/that since the summer.

February 6, 2011  09:57 AM ET

And the MIINY part is that it sends Corey Brewer, who will be a RFA to Denver .... I really do not see how Randolph to MINNY which has Love at pF, is going to help MINNY in anyway, but its Kahn. ...

so GREAT Trade for NY ..... better than Nothing for Denver .... One more Step backward for MINNY ... Corey Brewer the starting sG, and a first round pick for DNP-CD Randolph ...

The Other thing about this RUMOR ..... is that MINNY played DENVER last night ..... so is this more Media smoke up the a55
