08:02 AM ET 02.07 | Though he'll turn 35 in March, Hines Ward has no intention of making Sunday's Super Bowl his final game. After a turn-back-the-clock game that ended with a disappointing outcome, Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward said he has no plans to retire. "I'll be back," Ward said after the Steelers' 31-25 loss to Green Bay in Super Bowl XLV. "I'm not going anywhere." Ward, 34, played one of his best games of the season and looked anything but aging in catching seven passes for 78 yards and a touchdown.

Ward just kept getting open over the middle. You'd think somebody in a green shirt might've started to notice eventually.

Why not bring him back? He's tough and a leader in the locker room. Steelers are lucky to have him.

Plenty of teams can use him if the Steelers decide to cut ties.

I remember his playing at Georgia versus Florida in 1997 and totalling almost 200 yards of offense playing multiple positions.
He's enjoyed a good career...

If Terrell Owens is still shuffled around the league at 38, no earthly reason why a stand up guy like Hines shouldn't be playing... WITH THE STEELERS!

I guess the **** bandwagoners aren't on here yet, or Ward would be getting bashed.
Rogers was pretty classless after the game. He said on NFL Network that it was too bad they didn't play a more competitive team. Then he said the Jets would've played a better game.
At least Favre had respect for his opponent win or lose.
Then he crowned himself the greatest Packer QB all time. I know everyone hates Favre, but maybe the idiot hasn't heard of a guy names Bart Starr?
I don't know what his problem was, but he wouldn't shake hands with any Steelers either.
No class....

I fully expect him to be back. It's evident the burning desire to compete is still there. Obviously he still has the skills to play as well.

It was hard for him to find his way off the field with all the press surrounding him. Give the guy a break.
