08:09 AM ET 02.10 | Packers free agents are looking for the financial rewards that come from winning the Super Bowl. Most of them are confident in their ability to earn big contracts somewhere and are looking to be included among the group of players who have had their contracts extended during the season. "I understand it's a business," said Cullen Jenkins, whose agents had some talks with the Packers during the season but never got close to a deal. "Hopefully, there's not a lockout and even if there is not, we can get something done. Hopefully, we can get it ironed out quickly." But Jenkins also touched on the reality that if nothing has been done by now, there's a good chance it won't be done at all and he'll be on the free-agent market. Jenkins said he's prepared to have to hit the market and see what's out there.

They all have rings which would improve their stock....
Plus they won't have to live in Green Bay.

NFL popularity (not to mention revenue) is at an all-time high. If the owners (billionaires) and players (millionaires) don't find a way to get this done they're all idiots.

Tough business. Win a Superbowl on Sunday and no one from the front office wants to talk to you on Monday.

I'm sure some players have the mentality that now that they have a ring, they might as well get payed a lot of money somewhere else. Even if there is no chance in the rest of their career at making it to the SB again.

Once the player hits 30 GB will not give you a huge contract, especially with the way they draft people. GB offers what they are willing to pay you, if you don't like it you can go and walk.
Plus with no CBA yet, who knows if a cap will be in place or not.
