08:12 AM ET 02.11 | Kobe Bryant in another uniform? [Bryant] may be willing to return to his Italian roots if he doesn't agree with the terms of a new collective bargaining agreement. According to one of Bryant's teammates, the Lakers All-Star recently threatened, "I'll play in Europe" when they were discussing the potential of an NBA lockout this summer and the ramifications of a new CBA. "Kobe understands what the players before him did and he feels a responsibility to do the same to the younger guys," said the Lakers player, who did not want to be identified.

Lakers wanted that game a lot more than Boston did last night. Kind of the reverse of the game in LA, when I thought the C's completely outworked the Lakeshow.

Celtics coughed up the game by giving up a 15 point lead. They also coughed up the all important game 7 by blowing a 13 point lead. Tells me their age catches up to them so teams can exploit them by playing them at a fast pace. If I'm a Celtic there's reason to be concerned. And all you people that wanna trade Bynum for Melo did you see how he made Perkins who's big like a chimp and looks like one look like a midget? Bynum is real big and strong and quite talented for his size. I won't trade him for Melo....

QUOTE(#8):

No the Celtics had a depleted bench and it caught up with them in the second half. They were so thin that they brought a kid up from the D-League and put him into the game. This loss was all about Celtic injuries and nothing to do with LA's victory.

You can't make use the bench as an excuse when you have 4 all star players available. Celtics are old. The blow big leads.
