11:42 AM ET 02.12 | Rex Ryan didn't quite channel Jets great Joe Namath during the Knicks' 113-96 loss to the Lakers last night at the Garden, but he was close, essentially guaranteeing a Jets Super Bowl victory. The Gang Green coach told the Post "there's no way we don't get it done next year," and said to MSG's Jill Martin at halftime that "next year I know we'll win it."

Oh he just put his foot in his mouth!

Insert pie into pie hole....that way words won't come out.....

Gotta fix that offense first...

2 AFC Champ Games in his first two seasons......with a roookie/second year QB.

He's got time.

That defense is solid. They just need a replacement for Kris Jenkins...

I actually wouldn't be surprised to see the Jets go after Shaun Rogers and get solid production out of him.

LOL --- If he guarantees they can 'Git-Er-Done' enough times, the law of averages says he will eventually be right

Well, he can be kind of annoying, but I have to admit he's done a hell of a job with that team the last two years.

The last 40+ years would disagree with this.

Agreed. Jenks will probably be back next season, but who knows how many games he'll play in....if any.

Pouha has been very good and will only get better, but they need depth on the DL. I like Rogers.....I also like Haynesworth for the right price. You gotta figure if anyone can get him to play NT in the 3-4, it's Rexy.

We also need help at LB....someone who can be a legit pass rusher. Lamar Woodley???

This team will be a contender for years to come. Players want to play for Rex, which means high profile FA's are going to be in play every year.

The old "If you throw enough **** at the wall, eventually something will stick" axiom.

I doubt anyone is surprised by this.

Like who?

Exactly until the CBA situation gets worked out we don't even know who the FA's are gonna be this year.

February 12, 2011  01:23 PM ET

IT IS MORE LIKE HIS OWN GUYS WILL TUNE HIM OUT AND STPL LISTENING TO THE BLOWHARD AND THEN HE LOSES HIS OWN TEAM WHEN HE HAS NOT BACKED HIS OWN BIG MOUTH

February 12, 2011  01:29 PM ET

well he is persistent, but the Jets may lose a lot of talent if the CBA cuts the salary cap
