08:11 AM ET 02.14 | Larry Fitzgerald reportedly dropped Kevin Kolb's name when asked by Cardinals management about their future quarterback situation, and Kolb responded with some kind words for the receiver. "I mean, if he's not the best, he's one of the best receivers in the NFL, superstar," Kolb said. "For a guy like that to say something about me, it means a lot. And it's awfully flattering, and I hope that if something happens, their name comes up." ... "You never know what's gonna happen with Mike. We've talked about every week, he runs around a lot so you gotta be ready to play. You never know how the year can go. We learned that this year, so if it comes up that way, then I'll go with it and make it work. But I obviously want to be starting somewhere and be No. 1."

Just goes to show how desperate Fitzgerald is.

When you've played with the clipboard holders he has anyone sounds good.

True.

Any thing can happen here.

If the Cards think that Kolb is their future, they're in trouble.

It's the Cardinals... trouble is the state in which they live.

The state is fine, a little dry for my taste. Bidwell is the problem in the desert. Cards are going nowhere until he's gone.

Better someone like Fritzgerald wanting you than T.O..

At least Kolb is a better class of clipboard holder ... so that's something, right?

it's definitely a step up in class compared to the parade of qb's following Warner.

Kolb can hold the clipboard in either hand. You don't hear about many ambidextrous QBs.

He's kicking a dead horse. Kolb will be kept by the Eagles: he's relatively inexpensive and he's a needed backup if/when Vick gets injured. Fitz has better chance of getting Carson Palmer.

I guess Larry has no coonfidence in Max.

Goes to show you that there are no QBs avaliable if he mentions Kolb followed by Marc Bulger

Bidwell will never pay Kolb what he thinks he is worth in a sign and trade, and nobody is trading a first round pick for him without a signed contract after 2011.
Two years ago Bidwell cride like a baby to give Kurt Warner $10 million his last year. Stay away Kolb, stay far, far away.

Parade of QB's? Warner has been gone 1year. I would think that a parade would denote years of QB failures.
