10:20 AM ET 02.18 | Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has teased team-mate Jack Wilshere on Twitter about being too shy to ask for Lionel Messi's shirt after Arsenal's stunning Champions League victory over Barcelona on Wednesday night. The 19-year-old Wilshere was "so scared" according to Fabregas that he had to ask the Spaniard if he could get Messi's shirt for him following the 2-1 win at the Emirates. Fabregas tweeted Wilshere to say: "can't believe i [sic] had to go to get Messi's shirt for u. U were so scared. You were MOTM so next time please ask urself!"

I can't believe I forgot to mention this rumor yesterday.

Sources indicate that The Special One has instructed Jorge Mendes to convince BRENO to transfer to Real Madrid as a replacement for Pepe!

Conflicting reports have indicated the transfer fee would either involve Bayern paying Real 200 Euro to cover Breno's plane ticket or Jose offering Karl-Heinz a pack of Tic-Tacs and a handjob from a Macedonian hooker.

Another interesting rumor concerns the fact that Usain Bolt will be training with Bayern through May of this year. What is not fully understood is if he's going to try out as a speedy winger or if he's just there to train with the Bayern physio staff and receive back treatment from Bayern's top sports medacine staff.

As long as the Dutch doctors don't get involved, he'll be alright....

Also, even more interesting to me, is that if the UEFA 5-year coefficient were to be calculated today, Germany would jump Spain for second best European league behind England.

Makes some sense if you want to factor in the quality of the entire league, and not just the top two teams. Though I don't pretend to understand their formula for rankings, etc.

Point accumulation based on Champions League and Europa League preformances by league over a 5 year period which is then averaged.

No, Champions League is worth much more.

One big criticism of the coefficient is that CL weighs just as much as Europa. Which seems a little silly to me. And yes, it's silly only because that hurts Spain.
