Blackburn is ready to battle it out with Tottenham for the services of Fiorentina defender Tomas Ujfalusi. Ujfalusi is due to fall out of contract next summer and the player's agent Dalibor Lacina has confirmed already that eight clubs are showing an interest in his client.

This guy is a quality defender. Something the Spurs need, but I'd like him to go strengthen up that Blackburn squad

He'd be great for either Tottenham or Blackburn. I remeber this guy being a great defender when he was captain at Hamburg. Last summer Fiorentina offered Ujfalusi to Bayern along with Luca Toni, by Bayern elected not to take him, even though the price was pretty low. Bottom line is Fiorentina wants to dump him.

blackburn are very close to becoming a top euro club they have all the right stuff except the solid back line

just think with Gamst, Bentley and the strike force is not second rate with Benny and Santa Cruz with Derbyshire
