09:50 AM ET 02.19 | New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees downplayed reports that Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson was rude and condescending to him and Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning during a bargaining session at the Super Bowl. "I think there was a lot of rumors probably coming out of that CBA negotiating session that Saturday at the Super Bowl," Brees told XX 1090 Radio in San Diego. "To be honest, I haven't even seen the comment that was made, but I heard it was from Jay Feely who kicks for the Jets. And he wasn't there at the meeting."

I think the owner of the Panthers needs to take a lesson from Bud Adams of the Titans. If you have something to say to someone, don't just say it at a bargaining session; go to your stadium and give a two fisted middle finger salute in front of 70,000 people.

Richardson is a moron. I wish someone would buy him out.

Cause Brees is one classy dewd.

the owners started this mess to begin, every year someone becomes the highest paid player at any position, and now they want to force the players to take less, I highly doubt the owners will lower ticket prices if they get their way, since they have recover their losses from overpaying, the only reasonable excuse they have is all the overpaid high draft busts that don't pan out, no one forces these owners like al davis and dan snyder to be stupid and then have a lockout for being stupid, there take that interns

I'm not a huge Saints fan but Brees is great and they deserve everything they won and Jerry Richardson needs to be quiet.

Doesn't Jay Feely kick for the Cardinals? Lol.

H*ll yeah! Then there are absolutely no misunderstandings.

So let me get this straight. You're the owner of the CAROLINA PANTHERS and YOU'RE the one taking a rude, patronizing attitude towards Peyton Manning and Drew Brees? This sounds like a good outline for a TWILIGHT ZONE episode.

Yep.

Jerry Richardson has no right to talk anyway... his team sucks.

I wish you would buy him out in place of whining for help.

He is not a moron. He is CHEAP. He told his staff to make cuts before 2010. He refused to keep his best players the last few years because of money. OK, problem is he charged full price tickets and even sent an apology to his PSL seat holders.
Look, he kept Fox a year longer than he wanted to because he did not want to pay him his last year on his contract. He has one of the youngest teams in the league because he would not keep vets. That is all. He is no moron, he is cheap and wants more money kept in his pocket.
Maybe his restaurant business is down.
