Danica's last run at NASCAR?

09:42 AM ET 02.19 | While Danica Patrick has finished third in the Indianapolis 500 and has won once in IndyCar, she has had no similar success in NASCAR. Her contracts in both racing series run out at the end of 2011, which means Patrick will be a high-profile free agent with decisions to make. Some sponsors and race teams will still want her, but it seems to me that her flirtation with NASCAR may come to an end unless she does something big this season.

When you really look at her career, the true successful part of it has been the marketing of her. Lots of endorsements, high profile and not a bad lookin' woman. Her racing career (once she hit the big time) hasn't been as great. When you look at her Nascar Nationwide racing, she is just as successful as a lof of other drivers. The only way she is going to be truly successful is either commit to Nascar full time and hone her skills in the different kind of car from her Indy car.
