10:14 AM ET 02.20 | The Eagles have put out the word that in return for Kevin Kolb, they would like a first round pick and something else, maybe a third round pick. The Eagles are known to be tough trade negotiators, so no one expects them to come too far off their asking price.

They won't get a first rounder for Kolb.

And so, Kevin Kolb remains an Eagle for next year. A first and a third? Someone in Philly has been drinking the Kool-Aid.

They took a second and a fourth for McNabb, Kolb's no great QB, a second and a fourth is all they should expect.

I don't know that Kolb showed much last season that would give him a lot of trade value.

He killed his own trade value simply because Andy Reid drafted him.

I don't think he did show that much, but there are more than a few teams that need help at QB, and the Eagles are not afraid to take advantage of that.

In a word....delusional.

February 20, 2011  10:47 AM ET

Not gonna happen. A year from now he becomes a free agent.

February 20, 2011  11:27 AM ET

kolb has always been overrated

February 20, 2011  11:31 AM ET

The Eagles put the franchise tag on Vick , who will be 31 in June, and not Kolb who is 26.
Nuff said about what they really think he is. After four years with them they know. 11 tds and 14 ints. later, they know.

February 20, 2011  11:32 AM ET

He showed promise a year before last year !!! He is still not worth a first and third

Except for the fact that McNabb was 33 when they traded him and Kolb is 26.
