08:14 AM ET 02.24 | Though he put on some weight late in his career, Shawn Kemp knew his way around a dunk contest, and he was none too impressed with Blake Giffin's grand finale in 2011. Kemp, in a Wednesday radio appearance, called Griffin's final dunk "weak." "I'm a big Blake Griffin fan, but that dunk at the contest might've been the weakest dunk in the dunk contest that I've seen in a long time," Kemp said. "I love the choir and all that stuff was great, but you at least gotta jump over the car though, right?" ... Kemp said that he could jump over a car. "I'm 41 years old and right now I could do it. Two Smart Cars," he said.

Maybe Griffin should have just showed this on the jumbo tron:

Still....he jumped over a car, and caught an alley-oop at the same time, ON ONE TAKE. Not six attempts later. Not ALREADY holding the ball and running down the court.

I know SO many people who can't jump over a chair, let alone a car.

haters....

Lay off Kemp. He's just trying to make himself relevent and is trying to make sure everyone remembers how good his dunks were by constantly reminding everyone to make sure they don't forget. :P

Griffin is everything Kemp wanted to be. You can just FEEL the envy.

If youtube was around when Kemp was playing probably would have helped him. That being said who wouldn't watch a dunk contest with Kemp, Jordan, & Dominque throwing it down in their 40s

Crawl back from where you came, Bro.

That would be too cringe worthy for me. On every dunk I would be expecting ligaments to pop like broken piano wires.

LMAO!

I saw 'Nique @ All-Star weekend. He doesn't look like he's doing, nor is capable of doing, much in the way of dunking anymore. He's starting to look like a mini version of Charles.
