The Boston native has also maintained his opinion that Emelianenko cannot be considered one of the current best competitors in the sport when one considers the level of competition he has faced since the PRIDE fighting promotion--where Emelianenko built his legacy--was dissolved.

This isn't news. Fedor could beat EVERY HW in the UFC - and White would still dismiss him and whine about how hard it is to deal with the M-1 people. Of course, we ALL know that Dana is a pleasure to deal with and treats ALL of his fighters like family...

Fedor has not improved his fighting style at all in the last 5 years. His wide looping punching style would be easily dissected by the boxing skills of Dos Santos and Cain Velasquez.
