07:36 AM ET 03.01 | Robin van Persie is a serious doubt for Arsenal's Champions League clash against Barcelona next Tuesday. Van Persie, 27, injured his right knee in scoring his 13th goal in 11 games this year in Arsenal's 2-1 loss on Sunday to Birmingham. Arsenal also suffered a second blow after it emerged that Thomas Vermaelen will not be fit enough to make his long-awaited comeback for the reserves against West Ham Tuesday.

No van Persie is bad news for Arsenal. Although they could just choose to play 10 defenders.

Any one read about that Colombian dooosch Luis Moreno who kicked the crap out of the owl on the pitch? What is wrong with people? Is there an owl kicking epidemic in Colombia?

Or just play the ball to Bendtner and watch him dribble through the opposing 11 (includes keeper- after beating the keeper off the dribble Bendy dribble back past the 18 to take a 25 yd shot)

Portland fans: you can get the same disply fro Cooper without the high salary, although you also get Coop's dad

Bayern, I doubt it made the news on the East Coast, but please tell me you saw the interview with Zsa Zsa Gabor's dumbsheat husband the other day following the break in at their home. The 70 something year old whack job was walking around wielding a baseball bat and a Bayern track suit telling the press that the robbers were lucky that he wasn't home or he would have thrashed them. This coming from the dude who swalloed a bee and glued his eyes shut by accident. Thank Gareth he isn't a Madrid fan...

What is the deadline to have our line-ups set in the MLS Invitational?

Zsa Zsa Gabor's

I did not. Although it doesn't mean he's a Bayern fan. All it means is they were sold out of Madrid track suits at the Adidas factory store.

Although I should specify, all joking aside, that the Prince of Anhalt is a legal relative of Emperor William II. I have no issue if he is a Bayern fan.

I saw that. I guess it was the other teams mascot. He said he didn't mean any harm and just wanted to see it fly. Then why kick the owl???

He was born in the Rhineland anyways....

I find it dumbfounded how far down some famous families have gone. Like I think I heard the descendants of George Washington live in a trailer park or something.
