The more important question is what are the teams willing to sign him thinking?

Does Boras have it in in his contract that he gets to make manager's decisions too?

Don't you need to actually hit before a team hires you as a DH?

Scott, a old saying "don't count your chickens before they hatch" I assume you're penciling Carlos in as the RF of the Red Sox after your other client, J. D. (half season) Drew's contract expires. MLB owners will be silly to give Carlos more the one year and an option after 2+ injury plagued seasons.

His bat-handling potency has severely degraded since leaving H-town....

He should consider trying to stay healthy before he starts making demands about what he will and won't do.

Dear god no... There is no upgrade there, it's like replacing an aging, injury prone JD Drew with another aging and injury prone JD Drew.

He's a bum and I can't wait til he's no longer a Met. Bring on 2012 without Beltran, Castillo and Perez!!!

March 2, 2011  02:57 PM ET

looking back w/ the mets he actually had 3 productive seasons but the overall feeling is he's been a bust.

and as well know....perception has become reality.

March 2, 2011  09:35 PM ET

he should just not play baseball in 2012

Beltran and Drew stink.
