06:40 AM ET 03.02 | Speculation, including that of Sacramento's Mayor Kevin Johnson, is that the Kings are planning a move to Anaheim's Honda Center for next season. There have already been internal arena discussions in Anaheim about the need to change the Kings' name because the NHL's Kings are the leading rival of the Honda Center's original occupant, the Ducks.

Th Lakers and Clippers probably won't accept a move to Anaheim. The Kings are going to stay in Sacramento for at least one more season.

"Ducks" would be a more appropriate name actually.

You only have one professional team. Oh, you were including the Clippers, my bad.

If they are going to move, they should go to Seattle. They didn't deserve to lose their team in the first place. They could be the reborn Sonics, kind of like the reborn Cleveland Browns. Only I hope they play better than the Browns have.

Does LA really need a third team?

But they have no arena in Seattle, which is why they left in the first placeclearly Seattle deasnt want to pay for one,so why do they ' deserve' a team?

They still have KeyArena which hold just over 17,000. And Seattle fans filled the place. The arena in OKC only holds a thousand more. The new owners just wanted to move the team to their home. I never bought the crap about the arena. I think the FANS of Seattle should get first shot at the Kings. They kept the Sonics name and history, just like the Browns did.

Introducing the "Sacramento <this space for rent>".

So the Maloof brothers can build mega-casino/hotels but they can't build a sports stadium.... I am sick of owners saying taxpayers need to build arenas.
